Everything worked super cool before the update, but now, no sound comes out of my system. I'm using a firewire sound module (edirol fa-101) into a 12 in powerbook with 756 megs of RAM. However when I use "built-in" audio option in sys prefs, sound works again. So clearly it's a driver issue between edirol and apple's latest update. Any tips folks?

If it does not appear (the edrol) in the sysems preferances (light switch in dock) > sound > input and output, then you have a driver issue, firewire cord issue, or powerfailure to the edrol.
Edrol is usually fairly quick with updaters, so keep checking with them. I NEVER update my OS, unless I know for certain that all my software, and hardware will function correctly. -------------------- kaboombahchuck
