How do I get my many audio cassette tapes into my G-4?

Despite the many adverse comments I've read, I've been using the Griffin iMic with NO problems along with the free software, Final Vinyl.
I suspect that, like most Mac freezes, the ones with this are when folk try to use it with tiny amounts of Ram. As others have found, the bundled software won't load for some reason, so it's essential to download it from the website. Setting the recording level is a matter of trial and error and the program is poor on helping you with this. Importing into iTunes and converting to AAC is easy when you know how. There's lots of guidance on this elsewhere. |
