I'm just bought my first Ti-book.
Now i need an audio interface & off course a sequencer.
I'm thinking about the:

Motu 896 & DP-3
or
RME Multiface w/ Logic Audio (prob'gold)

What would you choose ?
I also have a P800 desktop so i also could use the RME for that if i buy the pci interface.

Thx for your help

Me again…

What do you want to make with these… the 896 is not an obligation, 828 can be adequate (96 KHz is mainly a marketing argument, especialy for amators -please, we won't argue upon 96 here, it'll confuse everything)

That'll save money also to by a good preamp if you want to record voices…

Also… logic gold doesn't exist anymore, it's entitled Logic 5 that 's all (cosmetic change of names) and it's the logic inside the Big Box paquage in promo until the end of august for about 300 € with some great stuff with (EXS 24 sampler, ES2 VA synth… check the news here for more info or the emagic site www.emagic.de) so you can have it quite cheap and RME makes great stuff (something for damann here wink.gif

Then there's still my first question… the philosophy…
