oh my god, i've just left hammerfalls' website...
i just downloaded the first osx audio driver... hold it, i have to sit down for a minute, get my breath back.  check it out guys, it's a beta at the moment, but promises to work with non-hammerfall kit.  now, if only i could install logic5 on x/classic...... can someone get me a glass of water? i feel faint.

damann, you mean the HDSP alpha driver? Not even beta yet, I don´t know, I´m hardly blown away. Processor usage in Live is extremely high, according to the RME usenet group neither Reason or Spark work with it yet, etc. Not to mention that on my Powerbook it doesn´t even recognize the Multiface everytime I start up. Usually I need to boot into OS9, then into OSX before it works. I´m glad they decided to share their internal alpha version though. Actual work isn´t really possible yet, though (especially because my current setup doesn´t work without Totalmix).
