i have an ibook and use a griffin imic to input audio via the usb port.
lately, i have noticed an intermittent audible "pulse", isolated to the left channel, which happens about every 10 seconds. it happens whether i'm using Garage Band or Felttip.com's Sound Studio. has anyone else encountered this particular issue? is anyone aware of a work-around? i will be joining you in telling people to save their money on the imic... in my mind, this is unfortunate... until this "pulse" issue, i had been pleased with the griffin product. it filled a void created when apple omitted the "audio in" jack from imacs, ibooks, etc... live and learn... thanks for moderating... |
