i have an ibook and use a griffin imic to input audio via the usb port.
lately, i have noticed an intermittent audible "pulse", isolated to the left channel, which happens about every 10 seconds. it happens whether i'm using Garage Band or Felttip.com's Sound Studio. has anyone else encountered this particular issue? is anyone aware of a work-around? (i'm considering griffin's usb-audio hub but wanted to ask the mac music forum before i spend good money...) http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/...s/usbaudio_hub/ any thoughts would be greatly appreciated... dy62c This post has been edited by dy62c: Tue 19 Oct 2004, 00:17 |

i've also got an imic and haven't had any issues with it yet....
but i keep hearing from a bunch of people that those little guys just go bad after a while. i really want to invest in am m-audio firewire interface. i guess it's just one of those "you get what you pay for" things. at $35 the imic can't be perfect or last forever. ![]() |
