i have an ibook and use a griffin imic to input audio via the usb port.
lately, i have noticed an intermittent audible "pulse", isolated to the left channel, which happens about every 10 seconds. it happens whether i'm using Garage Band or Felttip.com's Sound Studio. has anyone else encountered this particular issue? is anyone aware of a work-around? I have the reverse in iTunes while listening my CDs, a silence every 10 seconds, I've marked it seems linked to hard drives access on my underpowered BW G3 400 (no iMic).
