Hello there, I'm new to this forum but realise that I should have spent more time reading this than just fiddling around with my mac!
Anyway, the problem is I can only get my midi to half work, I have an old Powermac G3 on OS9.22, I am running Logic Audio platinum 4.7 and my midi connection is through a M-Audio USB midisport 1X1 which is connected to a Yamaha Portable grand DGX-500. The problem is is that though briefly I could get the midi to work it no longer appears to do so, I can however get my samples work (stuff that I have loaded into my EXS24) so I know that the connection is okay as my Yamaha will play those, just not any other midi stuff, I know somewhere I haven't done something right in my setup, can anyone advise me on what to do? cheers Matt |

You may want to make sure you are transmitting/receiving midi on the correct channels. That is the only thing I can really think of especially if your sampler module is getting triggered and nothing else. Check your preferences and check the other tracks/instruments to see if they are receiving on the proper channel. Maybe toggle around the channels and see what happens.
