Can anyone help me: Why is that plugin windows don't always open in Logic? I try to put a plugin in the channel strip and a blank, grey box opens with the plugin title, but no user interface, and the effect isn't applied. Can anyone tell me why this happens?

trash your preferences, found in the library folder.
also repair permissions and verify all hard drives.
