Hello I live in England and im looking into the possibility of getting a G5 power mac, or imac from America but I am not to sure about the power supply issue. Do macs had a switcher able power supply, or would i need a power converter and if so is it going to course problems in the long run. Thanks |

I'd just go to apple.com or google search. Either site should point you in the right direction for an AC converter.

My Mac's got a auto ranging power supply, so it accepts 100 up to 240, they all do, they always have.

Check the apple site for the international power adapters. I picked up an international adapter set at compUSA, for a trip to France a few years ago, worked fine. I just used the adapter on my powerstrip. -------------------- G-Dub |
