Hello I just got the LE 7.1 update and I was so excited that I threw the box out with the invoice from Apple. I didn't see a card or anything with the serial number do I need one for this update?

The update 7.1 comes without S/N. That I remember comes a DVD with complete software, and small manual with the licensing agreements in 10 or 12 languages. Your key recognizes the update.
