If any brave people instal this update, please let us know if CoreAudio and MIDI survive.
The last few Security Updates have been a disaster on some systems and this new Combo Update includes all previous Security updates. |

They seem to survive
 (after all, it's a bug fix of bug fixes Now some people have had big problems with Safari, in fact linked to Java. The solution is either to reinstall Java 1.4.2 from Apple downloads or (better idea) to redo the last security update. After that, repair permissions, clear the caches (Onyx) and there you go. It'll be more sure in a few days, right now only a few members have reported.

Protools 6.9 seems ok.

Safari quits on certain sites I'm not sure of the addresses because it wasn't me but I know that they are only comic forums, discussion boards etc.

That's the java going mad, install again the last security update, repair permissions, clear caches and it should be okay.
I've got myself some strange behaviour about the swap file, I'm going to investigate.
