Hi,
I have a problem with my new Mac g4 1000mhz 512MB powerbook. When running Reason and Ableton together or only ableton with a few plugins, it starts to be glitchy. Do I have to do something to let it run much faster since my pc doesn't have any problems with the system load with just a few reverb's, eq's and delays.... Please help. Greetz... |

 more RAM with that ammount of RAM you are probably forcing the OS to use your hard drive for virtual memory. Not a good thing when you are trying to record audio.Also Live is not G4 altivec optimised.

After adjusting some preferences in Ableton itself it works better already...maybe some extra memory would be nice indeed.

Latency settings also have a large effect on glitchiness. If you are just using playback feature set the latency quite high.
