Im very very new to audio production. lets say i want to set up a digital recording studio... what pro software and hardware do you guys suggests. currently im using G4 powerbook.
i've how do you use Cubase SX, i opened d program but it detected an error " no protection device attached" whats that?? i need helps here. thanx |

The "protection device" is a USB dongle (like a USB memory stick) that must be attached to one of your computer's USB ports for the program to load. Logic uses a similar device. It would have been in the box when you bought the program.
For the record, I prefer Logic and a MOTU 828 as my audio interface, with an Emagic MT4 for midi. Check out the Getting Started section here and you'll read A LOT about what else is out there. Happy hunting. ![]() |
