Brian one of the figures we have on the French part of forum (pro musician fellow) has strongly recommended the SP mics (first issues) to all.
Trouble is they are sold out for months. And he pointed too that quality has gone the way down after. Anyone has an idea of the serial numbers of the 1st series? -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Are you still going with this opinion ??
You'd better confirm (if you want to deserve one drop of Vouvray...) |

As it's a thing running on both side of the site… LOL
Toonsy (FR teamer) asked the guys at SP about that time and they said there was no different batches at the time. Brian's opinion has not been confirmed, we could not cross check serial numbers either. Yet Heral (FR teamer) just had some trouble on one new mic (T3 if I remember). We'll see. The mic is on the way to be check/repaired. Now the shortage there was in France at the time is no more. Even if I really like my C1, I'd wait to know if Heral's is just an odd ball or real trouble ahead. Keep the Vouvray drop, I don't drink. Buy a great mic instead! No first hand story upon the pre, but great reviews. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Now since I am beginning to become more aware of the good mics, I would appreciate, as much as possible, your advice (or some other guru's too) about the last ones I name in the other thread. ("which brand...") BTW: Bruce at Les Mille et un Sons is no more a member of their team since a year. |
