Good idea on the pole! Just do it! I'm a slowbie too...26 kps
 I will be moving soon and am hoping to get a better connection. Maybe the T1 at work will let me have a lookie see ( may have to hack security protocalls). Also Maybe next year we can do something for us folks that don't live so close to France!

Well, to transport video through a 26 or 56kbps line is obviously not realistic. Even simple compressed stereo audio is problematic with those "low" rates.
Anyway, you will also find a rather small Sorenson (ie QuickTime about 7MB, IIRC) & a small Real (about 7MB, IIRC too), better than nothing, don't you think? All this for a greeny thing where only one guy or two will be recognized by all of you, english or amercian macmusic hardcore users :-) A poll would be nice, just to have an idea... Soif? Or LPM? Bye. |
