Hi All, first post from me.
Got Cubase+System 4 interface and trying to record a passive bass directly through it. The signal was so low that I can't do anything with it afterwards as it distorts v.badly. Obviously as its passive I tried a DI box but still no luck in boosting signal. I recorded keyboards afterwards (much louder signal obviously) and that was fine. Anyone had similar problems with guitars and system 4?
Trying to find a solution that doesn't kill my neighbours with a massive bass amp...
Any ideas out there?
