couldn't I just buy the cheapest logic 5 and then download logic platinum 5.3 for osx? it seems like a cheaper way to go then just buying logic platinum for osx for full price when it comes out.

it just dosen't work that way unfortunately!
the platinum version is always released first. ![]() and, there are access codes etc necassary to authenticate an upgrade to platinum from whichever entry-level version of logic that you actually buy. hacking, cash outlay or patience are the only solutions here... -------------------- one for all and all for one...
