When I drag a loop into Garageband, when the loop starts over there is a small pause. When I just play the loop at the bottom of Gargeband is loops over and over without any skips to it. What cause the skip when I drag and drop it. I copy and paste over and over so that it is one continuous loop, but it skips at the beginning of each loop. How can I stop that and make it one long loop?

you can join certain sorts of loops together into one loop. Select each loop to be joined by shift-clicking each one. then choose edit>join(command J).
You can change orange loops into purple ones by selecting and then ctrl>alt>g If your loops are skipping, open in the track editor, stretch to the max and trim bits off the end until the pitch/waveform matches. Sometimes nothing works cos the loop hasm't been designed to join seamlessly. Good luck , -------------------- |

have you checked the bpm of the loops against the tempo of the piece, sometimes too dissparate tempos won't sync.?

Take a close look at the sample, in an audio editor app (audacity, it's free) to see if there is any dead air present. I suspect you have a gap of silence.
Also take a look at it with the Apple loop utility to see if the slices are uniform. -------------------- G-Dub
