Image Without Sound, any codec idea? Options

i am a recent user of mac g5 and i can t hear any sound from any web site i go to. radio program, film tracker, etc what codec could i load to hear sound?

Can you give an example of a website?

Many sites use streams that need either Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, you can get them free from Microsoft and Real Networks websites.
