it can record in 48khz but can be used as an audio interface via USB with 96khz???WTF....crap

Well, let's hope you haven't bought one already, and this reply isn't expressing your dissatisfaction over having come home with the Zoom and NOW realizing it. I never have bought any Zoom gear (and probably never will).....I just remember the little Zoom guitar processors from the early 90s that were just AWFUL. I never could get past that initial impression after one of my friends brought one of those over to jam with me. Some things stick with a person.

I'll bet the new one is comparatively cheap when put up against a Tascam or Roland portable digital recorders, though. That'll suck somebody in every time.

no, I wouldn´t buy it before didn´t checked out all features. I´m just annoyed about these "close-to-great" innovations of commercial thinking.
The H2 is quiet good for the money, btw.
