What a joke. I mean the plug-in might be great, but who is the heck will spend even 7500 dollars for these plug-ins. I mean, you could spend money like this and build a great studio for that kind of money and have a room to really hear the problems.
They just plain cost too much! I am using the McDSP stuff and the ML4000 is fairly priced at $495 for a great 4band EQ for Mastering.. I used to swear by my L2, which I paid 1200 for as a TDM StandAlone Plug-In, but then they started to charge for Licensing and Re-Licensing and upgrades etc. in addition to what I had already invested in. I feel like I rent the stuff after I buy it. The McDSP stuff always has great support and plugs and never costs for upgrade that I know of. No I don\'t just use there plugs, I only use them as an example. Someday I hope they offer the plug-ins in an individual purchase plan without the tech support WUP Plan that I sure don't need anyway.
