How can they always take so long? Tiger has been available for developers for almost a year!

Just be glad they didn't announce that HD is incompatible with Tiger and you have to get new PT hardware in order to make it work rolleyes.gif

Yeah. Now I'm on 6.4. I get Tiger and have to upgrade to 6.9 for 75€. Then in a month the announce 7.0 (I bet) and there goes my wallet again, flap flap flap!

It's a good thing I'm totally loaded (not).

Maybe the reason is Digi waits till they can test with the shipping system. Now with the Gold version, they have 2 and 3 months to clear things.

I'd been way more upset if they had announced to wait till september.

Oh come on! Do you folks REALLY want to upgrade your production systems to a ".0" operating system release? Do you have any compelling reason? If you have a working system that does what you want, why mess with it for flashy OS features? I personally don't like crashes or other unexpected surprises... so run my production systems on PT 6.2.2 and 10.2.8... never a crash! When they add surround mixing to LE, I'll think about upgrading. It may be a long wait.
