I'm guessing no midi means no audio units instruments can be used with Soundtrack pro, or am I missing something?

Of course, STP includes all of the loops from ST 1.x, but also a bunch of new sound effects files.

STP does not support software instruments or MIDI.

does anyone know if you can drag and drop loops in to the time line and have them sync up exactly with tempo of the song?

I guess that would be like using Live but the DEMO of the original SoundTrack I used sounded beautiful! And the time stretch function was ultra realistic...

You can combine GB and STP together. GB can seequence any software instrument Audio Unit and can easily export Apple Loops for use in STP.

Is this new version ASIO compliant? And can anyone compare it to Bias Deck?
