Check out the new Core Audio features http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/coreaudio/

Device Aggregation...
Use multiple like devices as one virtual device in any Core Audio application.

...extremely cool.

I guess it's still early yet, but any word on weather DP4.5 is compatible with Tiger 10.4??

I have reduced my DigiDesign 001 to recording my drum set. My Mbox is compatible with Logic..... Core Audio sounds like a serious 64-bit, multi interface, threat to the monopolistic attitude over at ProTools.

I am giddy like a school girl. Already pre-order Tiger.

Apple goes to a speed that to its competitors is to them very difficult to follow.Protools must be worried. With the level that Apple marks,we gained all.

Has anyone any info on the supplied xgrid software? Sounds pretty cool- the idea of harnessing all available computers processing power. Could this be used to drive your music programs to the max?

They supply Xgrid? cool! (sorry, wasn't at home since noon tuesday)

But we'll need upgrades of software to be able to use it then as it's the case on Xserve under grid processing. cool.gif

Now, it's 129€ here sad.gif (sorry Apple we don't have 30% taxes…)

Also, wait till we know how much our apps are compatible…

As long as you buy them within 30 days of the official release, you'll receive (some time later…) Tiger. Computers will be loaded with it usually within one or two weeks, maybe faster on applestore.

Note this is a general remark, I don't have the official dates from apple, it's experience wink.gif
