Since last week my membership has to be renewed. But whenever I try to reach the page where I can do this, I get this error:
This page is unavailable.

Hi Deyaert

Thanks for your past contributions. As we explained in this news, we are happy to stop the paid membership system, and that's why you can no more use our order page.
We dont need, so we wont ask your money anymore.

You are one of those who saved MacMusic!

MANY THANKS! cool.gif

I should also inform you ActiveMembers and contributors owning MacMusic points, that your points wont be lost. We are working hard on a new community systems where your points will be used to sort between active and passive visitors, allowing most active to get more control about the content and direction of MacMusic.

I might also add that we desesperatly miss more english speaking people involved in MacMusic team or sometime contributing (News posting, Articles writing, and so on).

While 70% of our readers are now from the english side of MacMusic, most of the work is done from the french side. We dont care to also feed the english side, but we really miss a serious english touch in writing and feeling.

So please You from UK, USA, canada, Autralia, Japan, Germany, or wherever you live, dont be so shy and dont let us to stay so frenchie : please contribute to the MacMusic content (more about it in the About tab).

After all, MacMusic is YOUR site. wink.gif

After an initial visit to MacMusic a couple of years ago, I thought it had turned into a worthless advertising site. I just found out that someone is squatting macmusic.com and pushing garbage on hapless web surfers looking for macmusic.org. The default top domain auto-completion in Safari only makes this worse and I confess to being fooled entirely too long. Do you guys own a trademark? Under US law you might have some protection, assuming you had registered it before those guys set up their cheesy little site.

One day the guy owning the .com will surrender… meanwhile… we are proud to be a .org tongue.gif laugh.gif cool.gif

Also, I can only encourage people on the EN side to participate, I will soon decide of a bunch of new moderators, and we'll have to start the new community system too. So the more we know people by reading them, the better wink.gif

If you have some strong knowledge in a musical matter (you are the king of the how to start on Logic or whatever or you are unbeatable at the Nashville fast harmonization system) you can make us swim in acticles smile.gif

I strongly urge people to accurately fill they user page, it will help us wink.gif (no we don't trade, sell names/email it's naughty-naughty). You can have a user page filed up correctly and not have your name displayed to others, it's a feature (chack box somewhere wink.gif , but this way, we (team) know who you are. wink.gif It helps too when I'm hunting scammers to ban them.
