I would let go of every bodily function if a PowerBook G5 actually came out.

I use daily a first generation G5 and it's a wonderful computer (to Apple: you know where to send the pay check We know IBM works very quietly on a laptop version… We know too that IBM and Apple aare on a double core G5 CPU they don't say a word on (but a few things slipped both from Apple in the CHUD tools, and a pdf on IBM site now removed). As Intel and AMD are fighting over the issue to be the first to offer the first consummer CPU with multiple cores, it should move soon. I do'nt think we'll hear of the laptop CPU until IBM has somehting a… kicking and working as advertise to show. And I think that we may hear of it only when Apple issue the laptops… Right now, we're in speculation territory… (To Apple, a 15" G5 laptop would do nicely in my set up (with 1 GB of factory ram to be serious a bit Now, remember the G4 has still power under its feet
