We're using this machine on a movie now and have found some things that we don't love. The meta data is not easily changed on the fly. If you misslate a take it isn't an easy thing to change it quickly. The aes digi ins don't line up with our consoles' tone when all other machines do(pd6, pd4, dv40). On playback, there is no pause button that will allow you to unpause and keep playing. On the good side, there hasn't been a machine built this well from the hardware standpoint since the nagra. The waterproof faders are very cool. it plays well with other computer products(firewire drives and cd/dvd burners). But we're not far into the show so, we'll see...
