I've tried it out and it works. Using it on a Powerbook G4/400 with OS X 10.3.1.

It's not pressure, though, but "touch area". Read more about it here:

Thanks, Joe! Interesting post over there, though I think FingaMIDI will still be of primary interest as a driver as it's the only way to route this data to MIDI.

And, yes, I was confused by the 'pressure' bit, too, at first -- so the post is helpful clearing it up. For lay people, I think it's best to recall that Apple introduced the ability to 'tap to click' with the Titanium PowerBook G4.

This DOES make it sound as though this will work with my Aluminum -- off to try it out!
