The keyboard size is still not definetly set. The Mac editor seems to be really on the roadmap. The G2 are stackable to gain in polyphony…

We'll have fresh official news from Clavia in the next days (give them time to come back from Frankfurt and do a bit of thinking and counting). As soon as the official word from Clavia will be ready, you'll get a News update

mhmm Am I sold to Clavia eh! blink.gif laugh.gif

More hints:

- 3 levels of sound hierarchy
programs, set of knob setings in a patch, you can store 10 of them in a patch
patches, NM business as usual biggrin.gif
Performances set of 4 patches, like the 4 banks on G1

- You can use the G2, save programs without a computer.
So you can use the G2 as a performance synth with a fixed structure and no more NM/NL in the balance, you have both.

It's the reason buttons are labeled. it's the default position on the presets you can edit (as your own patches) without a computer.

- now each time you change of patch, a small silence occur as alorythms are recompiled forming the next patch. It was the case in G1, it's still the case in G2 BUT:
If you use a patch, use the 10 programs, you wan't more? save a copy, edit 10 new programs. If you go from one patch to the other, NO SILENCE biggrin.gif as they are the same patch code, cool.

- The MAC editor is not a priority for Clavia now. They want a G2 up and running with PC editor first. After…
For now they have still a lot of work to finish in time for June release.

- to transfert patches, you need only a simple common sysex utility, your sequencer can too rolleyes.gif

- A row of buttons is available, assignable, you can in sequencer of the G2 mute a note, edit a track…

- The keyboard is set to 3 octaves now. If need arise for a bigger one and the demand is strong enough, Clavia will eventualy release a bigger one.

- Delay with on bord RAM can be set to 2,5 ms per patch.

- more available modules, development of new ones easier for clavia.

Thanks to the modular list, Wout Blommers and Rob Hordijk in particular for the informations.
