I won't harp on about how important backing up your computer is, but I do just want to let you know that usually when I'm running Logic the only other software open is 1) the Finder and 2) Gobbler. Gobbler is a piece of software that backs up your Logic projects to secure off-site storage and I signed up for a beta account recently. A little time has passed and I have to say I'm very pleased with Gobbler - it's saved my a$$ a few times now. I just leave it running in the background while I record, safe in the knowledge it's backing up my session and in most cases it's already finished doing it before I've shut Logic Pro down for the day! I was using Carbonite to backup offsite as well, but I've cancelled my account now.

Anyway, Gobbler's opening offer of a 25GB account is ending in less than a month - Dec 7th. Personally I'd recommend you sign up now, even if you don't start using it at first because after that date the space will drop to 5GB for the basic starting account.
