Hi,
A couple weeks ago I stumbled upon this soft called
videoraptor. It can be used to download video clips from the internet, save youtube videos and so on.I was wondering if anyone used it or if you have any idea about how good it is?I figured I could ask for a second opinion before getting something.

If you're using FireFox try VideoHelper it's a free add-on. Puts a little rotating icon in the task bar with a drop down arrow that shows what you can download off the page. Very simple and works for YouTube and most things video and audio.

HI,
I've used the tool for a while and it seems to work just great. I especially liked the fact that you can decide what to download according to video/audio quality.

Hi,
@mc_hummer: sorry for not answering earlier, I was caught up in some things and did't read the board anymore...
Concerning the quality of downloaded files with Videoraptor: you can set the quality level with the help of the "stars" tab in Videoraptor.(at the bottom of the search results) The more stars are highlighted the better the quality of the files.
But as I have seen, the quality of the files available is rather medium to low so don't be surprised if you don't find anything or very few files after setting the value to 5 stars.
Enjoy
