Here is my problem. The Sound Preferences do not allow me to use Protools 6.9. This was not always the case. In fact it started two days ago. I click on the Protools icon and the app opens. After I have quit all of the free trial plugins that I am not ready to use, I start a new project. Everything is in place but there is no input. Although the Sound preferences recognized the Mbox before I start this process, when I open the Sound preferences pane after setting everything up the Mbox is not there.
(after many attempts)Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any work-arounds? I really need to work in this application and would really appreciate some help. I hasten to add that I do not have this problem with Finale or Cubase SE.
