i'm looking for any piece of software that converts audio to midi signals and performs well on intel macs. just got a mac pro and i need to play midi with my guitar

Widisoft offers an audio to midi solution with very good polyphonic pitch recognition
though there is a noticable amount of latency involved with live triggering of instruments.
