I'm trying to run Soundflower on my iBook G4 1.2 GHz with 1.25 GB RAM running osx 10.4.7. It installs OK and the soundflower.kext file appears in the extensions folder, but there's no sign of it in audio/midi setup. Having searched other forums I found some references to problems so I fixed permissions and checked everything as advised. Still nothing. When I load soundflowergarden it thinks soundflower is installed, but it still doesn't show up in audio/midi setup.

Advice, please.

I'm usually using an m-audio firewire 410 and behringer bcf2000 but the soundflower problem happens even with a bare machine.

It seems everyone is having some kind of problem with Soundflower 1.2.
I read somewhere else that it's the installer.

Not quite!
I'm still having problems with some apps, namely Ableton Live 5.2.1.
Core Duo machines were left behind... unsure.gif

I'm using a MacBook Pro and Soundflower only works with a few apps: GarageBand, Plogue Bidule and Pure Data.
