Just thought I'd post my latest enthusiasms...

OS X is getting better and better for musicians. I've now got Live 1.5, Reason 2.0 and Melodyne running in OS X, which is great for working out new ideas and getting songs at least half-finished.

All I need now is an OS X update for my sequencer apps (Logic and Cubase) and a driver for my audio interface and that's it, I'm switching to OS X for ever.

Maybe I'm incredibly shallow, but I much prefer working in OS X to OS 9 just 'cos it looks fantastic . That actually encourages me to do beter work! biggrin.gif

Well, i don't like aqua at all, but i really love what mac os x is based on, basicaly a *nix kernel, which is great, IMHO! No more app crashing the whole system, much better networking support, memory protection, file permissions, real multi-user, etc., etc.
OS X is by far better than os 9, no doubts about this.

But when will we get DP, Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase SX and Nuendo, etc.?
When will we get good and reliable drivers for our midi/audio interfaces?
Soon, i hope, because i really want to dump os 9...
But i also want a stable sequencer/system...

Bye.
