Can anyone offer any advice or links on a vp 330 vocoder plus..I have one here to repair but we have no manual and no diagrams...It's got a couple of faults so I need some schematics,I'd like a op. manual just to be sure it's all working. Checked Roland, no joy ( why don't they keep pdf's of their old manuals around?? ) , been on various synth sites with no luck so far. Any help greatly appreciated. Anything online would be great. Thanks

I used to own one and my main advice is COMPRESSION, the VP-330 is VERY volume sensitive, best thing to do is always compress everything going into it. Also try the two inputs with the same sound because i found you could get different tonalities from the different inputs (mic/line).

As a side note, if members have around ANY schemo/manual that could be/should be online, we'd be able to host them. we have the servers, bandwitdth and the hosting is safe for years to come (thanks to members who gave their shirt for us a few years back -we'll never thank them enough- and the ads now). So that anyone will be able to find them at one place easily.
I've had a look at the files we have already secured, to no avail

On every online retailer that I've seen the Roland Cube X models still cost more than the XL's, and the XL's are a new release.
Yuliyad... 1963 Split Rear Window Corvette cost more than a new one. Plus, Roland knows their products can/will hold value. It's like Mac Products, have you ever seen a "Mac Sale" No. I learned my lesson with the Mac iSight. When it came out I think it cost either fifty or a hundred dollars? Inexpensive. I said: "I'll wait until the price drops" Never did. Today they cost up to 300 Euros, used, eBay!!
My advice... The XL's will be better. They will however have to "prove" themselves. Only thing that does this is: Time. Good luck with your choice/decision.

Thanks lepetitmartien, I'm really out of the loop... Thanks for the heads up, my head has obviously been down, NOT in a bad way, a GOOD way. Still I feel violated in some intangible way. The worst part is I want revenge. Is this sick behavior? I'm no longer certain?!? Remember, I'm 'Out Of The Loop'...

I've been fooled more than once too, I even find out some months later…
And there's nothing I can do to stop them coming in
save by blocking large IP blocks and preventing legitimate users to come…
