Hi all,
I would like to connect an Imac G5 and a motu MP AV (usb) but one is about 40m away.
What is the solution? I know there's any possibility with RJ45 (ethernet) connection/ adaptator, but I've only found USB1.0/RJ45 adaptators, and almost needs drivers that are only for PC?
I really need help quite soon...

Most of these seem to not require drivers. I looked at the product manuals of a couple and there is not mention of driver installation.

This would make sense since there are 2 units with cat5 in-between and neither the host computer or the peripherals would need to know about them since they are still talking with plain old USB. The boxes do the translation.

The exception is the USB over IP enet product at the end of the list
