Full Version: Inexpensive Midi Software?

For 10 years I have used Passport MIDI software in OS9. It was inadequate by today's standards but all I use it for is making bass/drums files for me to practice along with, and I do files for my students to practice along with. I'm using OS10 but have continued to run Passport on my old Powerbook. Alas, it has died and taken the program with it.

Is there a simple, inexpensive MIDI program I can use in OSX? Like I said, it has to do virtually nothing but record simple parts - don't need bells and whistles. Maybe some shareware?

Thanks.

Have a look here

I'd look after Luna free, and eventually at Traktion, Metro and Intuem. There's demo versions to find the best suiting your needs for the ones which are not free.
Metro SE
If your familiar with old Passport software, Metro SE, will seem second nature.
