I really like the Pultec and Fairchild stuff that you can get with the UAD-1. Also their new Neve 1073 is great.
Apart from those, the Smack! compressor is good, and you can massage good results from the Bomb Factory stuff, sometimes.

PSP, UAD-1, the BIAS Peak Pro 5 XT bundle is nice as an all-in-one, Metric Halo's Channel Strip and +DSP stuff is cool, Nomad Factory EQs and compressors are nice, the free SSL compressor is worth downloading. Lots of stuff, really.

Oh, and the GRM Tools stuff deserves a mention. Interesting approach, worth investigating.

O' yeah! The UAD Pultec, Fairchild, 1073, and 33609 is about all I use on all of my projects. I am able to get some of the most unbelievable mixes using only these three plug-ins. Many times, I cannot believe what I am hearing. I am fanatically over UAD plug-ins.
