Has anybody run the audio form a powerbook through the monitors?

I have a new G4, using a firewire into a Presonus firebox, out through some powered monitors as part of a home setup. I would like to use the monitors to play itunes while I'm setting up, etc. I haven't been able to see the results under "preference".

Hi, Ime not on a powerbook, but should be the same.
open the utiliteis floder, and click on audio midi utility. Then select your firewire card as default soundcard.
