I'm a newie to home recording and just bought the tascam 122.
Here's the situation...
I've set my input and output (on mac ibook os x 10.3.2) to the tascam...
Tascam is fully recognized and for some reason, when i go to record, the only audio that is picked up is from the mic on the laptop.
How do i get garageband to record from tascam?

Any clues would be much appreciated.

I would guess that, as with other programs, you have to select the Tascam as the input source from within Garageband. Look for audio preferences or some such control panel.
