I am a new Pro Tools 6.4 user and I am running Reason as my midi sequencer. I have no problem getting Pro Tools to recognize Reason and I have been able to record some midi tracks into Pro Tools. Now I would like to reroute the midi signal to an audio track and record it there so I can eliminate my midi tracks and Reason (due to the CPU power that it sucks up).
Please help if you can.

Not using Pro Tools myself (using DP-4.12) but - you cant route midi to audio directly.
( two very different breeds of animals )
You'll have to make new audio track and route the audio from Reason into this audio track.
( In DP-4 the audio-outputs from Reason are immiedately avaliable as inputs to DP:s audio tracks )
( 64 or so to choose from - a long list anyway)

I use Pro Tools 6.4x and often bounce midi to audio and reimport the track (and hence delete the midi track), you can always go back and redo it (if you properly save the files etc.). This will reduce your cpu usage (this was the trick I used on my G3/600, I now have a G4/1Ghz)
