Greetings,
This is an important question, and relevent to me in my job as an IT trainer (day job that is)
From my point of view:
People learn best from going to the class - one to one tutoring is the most effective, but not efficient.
On-line courses work if they are constructed well to answer particular questions. Like 'How do I plug in and use EQ?'
On-line courses can also be a reminder on how to do things.
On-line courses are an aid to learning - they are not the be-all and end-all of learning.
Hope it helps a little.
