I know this is probably old hat to alot of you but...

I am currently running a Snow iMac with OS 9.2.2, and I have connected a Formac - LiteOn LTR 32123S - 32x12x40 Firewire CDR drive.

I am wanting to burn mp3 CD's from my iTunes (ver. 2.0.3), I need the burn support for this and have been trawling the net for what seems like FOREVER but with no luck!

Can any of you good people hook me up PLEASE?

Thanx in advance!!!!! unsure.gif

What type of burning software came with the burner?
I get around this problem by using Toast. Seems that the old itunes won't recognize external burners (pre OS X).

I have Toast 5, but I want to be greedy and do the whole 150 mp3 tracks on a single CD like you can with the PC Toast, so that I can listen to them in my car, I travel for hours at a time, so 25 tracks in Toast audio format doesn't last me long.

My mac also has OSX on it, it's one of those that you can switch between operating software, not totally sure which OSX is on there tho' as all my software is OS9 so I don't use it at the moment.

The plot thickens...

Thanks to that great French site MacBidouille (a reason for you all to learn French wink.gif :

- you can use Patchburn it allows unrecognized burners to be used by itunes and Disk Burner

- The other solution is Here, in French
(sorry, too long to spend time on translating)

Both work.
