Hi all,

I've been having problems recently after buying a Behringer B-1 mic and the new M-Audio Firewire Solo.I'm getting playback from the left channel but not from the right, whether its the cable set up or something else im not sure, but has anyone else had this problem with either appliances?

As the mic is mono, maybe the default direct playback is thru the left channel…
I will look into the manual, there something I don't understand too wink.gif (now I should go to sleep…) cool.gif

from the manual page 3
QUOTE
Microphone Input    Mic-level input on balanced XLR connector. This connector is only active when the Front/Rear Input Selector (5) is set to “Front” (OUT  position). Input from this connector appears in your DAW software as a mono signal on the left side of the stereo input pair.

Page 13
QUOTE
The signal level you receive from these inputs will appear on the mixer page as Left (Mic) and Right (Guitar) inputs on the Analog 1/2 In meters.

I think it's a desperate case in direct monitoring.

You can mix inside you mac and listen to it after and so have a more comfortable signal but you'll have latency… sad.gif

They mean : you monitor directly with the voice in one ear and the guitar in the other one… final blink.gif
