The software is not pirated, and I don't even know how to do that. I bought the actual disc, initially, and now I am all registered and have a manual and everything is cool, accept I don't know if I like digital performer just yet. The monitoring issue is frustrating, and I can't figure out how to monitor a track while it is armed for punching in purposes. I am upgrading my CPU and RAM and I am hoping that will help with performance issues. Does anyone know the relationship btween DP4 and altivec, if any? any help is greatly apreciated.

I can relate /.........Im a semi Power user on Pro Tools but wanted DP for MIDI creativity and I have had nothing but issues..........I can not preview audio in my import audio menu even with my audio bundles default output all the way at the top........If I start on a new template I can audition fine till I change any tracks output assignment then my auditioning goes away and never comes back........ MOTU Tech support has been no help and I'm about to have a DP4 for kindling........ My latence is extreme and If I try to account for it in my fine tune audio MIDI I/O menu I'm pushing my audio back more than 2000 samples to even get close ......and even then it is not ........I have a dual 867 G4 with 512MB RAM and 10.3.5 OSX and default Sound Manager output . One day maybe I can write without issues
