Whether using iTunes or QTPro, when I export a midi file to aiff (using my own soundfont per QT music prefs), the volume is dramatically lowered. I even customized the iTunes export to 48000 khz and 16-bit. It helped but not much (improved from pppp to ppp). Does anyone have any idea how to solve this. I am trying to sell some jazz play-along CDs on eBay and need to solve this problem.
I also have DP4, but it will not render from a soundfont (or will it?). And before anyone suggests it, I do have and use wiretap but I have hundreds of SMFs to render and that would take weeks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
