Since installing Reason and Mbox Oxygen midi on OS9 I have been unable to open any recording program (audacity, etc) on my computer. Any ideas or help??

Well, you can eliminate Reason from the cause.
It doesn't record audio.

sounds to me like you have some conflicts going on there. Midi may be the problem. Did you accidentally install an older version of OMS or Freemidi by chance over a newer version? Check that its still 2.4.8 and test the OMS setup again to make sure its working.

Also, make sure you are only running the extensions you need for your music apps by creating a base set of extensions in the extensions manager control panel and then add to it all your music app control panels and extension. Still a problem? Then start taking the music extensions out one at a time that are newest, reboot and try again. You may have to reinstall some software or could be a probelm in system too and Norton might be needed. Hope that helps somehow cool.gif
