Etrange et genant.
Je suis sous mac G4 bipro avec une 828 motu et sous Logic 6,3,3.
Tout fonctionne parfaitement.

Par contre, si je branche mon iPod ou mon Hd externe en Firewire 2, je perd le son au bout de 10 minutes environ. Si j'ejecte la partition ou si j'eteins mon Hd externe, le son revient.

Quelqu'un a t il une idée autre que de debrancher mon Hd quand je suis sous Logic?

J'ai aussi eu ce pb qui m'a obligé a abandonner la 828 et a passer en PCI avec une carte Lynx.
Il s'agit d'un PB d'alimentation des ports firewire sur tous les G4 saufs les tous derniers.

Mon mac est un bi-pro 1,25. Le dernier produit avant la sortie du G5. comment savoir si c'est ça?

J'ai ecrit ce matin à MOTU et ils m'ont repondu tres gentiment: "This may be a bandwidth issue with the Firewire bus. Are you attaching the interface and drive to two different Firewire ports or are you chaining them? Try switching the Firewire port that each device is using. You may need to use a PCI Firewire card in this case because the sharing of the bus that is built in can be overused causing dropouts or noise in the audio. Try different Firewire cables as well."

J'ai testé les cables ... bof.

Est ce que quelqu'un a testé la carte PCI firewire? Pas de bug?
